Terms of Use

1. Acceptance and eligibility

By using BayForge Fit, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. The service is intended only for adults age 18 or older. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Fitness and health disclaimer

BayForge Fit provides general educational fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, emergency care, physical therapy, or a substitute for a qualified professional. Get medical guidance before beginning if you have a medical condition, symptoms, pregnancy, recent surgery, or exercise restrictions. Stop and seek appropriate help for chest pain, faintness, severe shortness of breath, or sharp or worsening pain.

3. Your responsibility

You are responsible for choosing movements, repetitions, food, and activity appropriate for your condition and environment. Use proper form, safe equipment, adequate space, and reasonable judgment. The missed-workout run is motivational only and never overrides injury, illness, weather, traffic, local rules, or personal safety.

4. Accounts and honest information

Provide accurate information and protect access to your signed-in account. A verified Email or Apple identity, when available, may be linked to one canonical BayForge member profile. Do not link a sign-in method you do not own, impersonate another person, misuse another member’s code, evade moderation, interfere with the service, or attempt to access private data or paid features without authorization. Contact support for verified recovery or account deletion; deletion may be subject to records we must retain for security, transactions, disputes, or law.

5. The Foundry

You retain ownership of content you post. You give BayForge Fit permission to host, display, and moderate that content to operate The Foundry. Do not post harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, illegal material, private health information, home addresses, or content that violates another person’s rights. We may hide or remove content and restrict participation to protect members and the service.

6. Buddy and local matching

Buddy matching is an introduction tool, not screening, supervision, or a safety guarantee. BayForge Fit does not verify a person’s identity, background, fitness qualifications, or intentions. Adults who meet should use a public place, tell someone their plans, protect personal information, and leave any situation that feels unsafe.

7. Nutrition Forge purchases

Nutrition Forge is an optional one-time purchase of $4.99 for 35 days of access, equal to one five-week cycle. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically. Access begins after payment is confirmed. Prices and features may change for future purchases. If a technical problem prevents access, contact support promptly. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and the circumstances of the purchase.

8. Food allergies

Nutrition Forge can exclude ingredients you identify, but suggestions cannot guarantee that a packaged product, restaurant meal, kitchen, or facility is allergen-free. Ingredients and manufacturing practices change. You are responsible for reading labels, checking cross-contact warnings, communicating with food providers, and following professional medical advice.

9. Merchandise

BayForge Fit merchandise is made to order. Product pages and checkout show the available garment, design, color, size, price, shipping charge, and applicable tax. Review selections before paying. Contact support immediately if an order must be changed; production may begin quickly and changes are not guaranteed after production starts. Report a damaged, defective, or incorrect item promptly after delivery. Made-to-order items are otherwise final sale except where applicable law requires a return, replacement, or refund.

10. Forge Credits and The Armory

Forge Credits, abbreviated FC, are a limited, revocable in-app rewards unit with no cash value. FC cannot be sold, transferred, withdrawn, exchanged for cash, or purchased directly during the Founding 100 beta. FC may be earned only through eligible participation and redeemed only for available BayForge Fit discounts, digital perks, approved merchandise, or other listed rewards. FC is separate from XP. Redeeming FC does not reduce XP, rank, or earned-only achievements.

Reward availability, inventory, eligibility rules, FC values, and redemption costs may change. Physical rewards may require separate shipping charges unless a listing expressly includes shipping. We may reverse credits or redemptions associated with error, fraud, duplicate activity, fake referrals, manipulation, or a violation of these Terms. Refreshing, duplicate check-ins, repeated quest submissions, and unqualified referrals do not earn additional FC.

11. Beta features, achievements, and promotions

Beta features may change, fail, or be discontinued. First Flame, The Forged, Ironbound, Perfect Forge, Unbroken, Centurion, 365, and other earned-only achievements recognize qualifying behavior and cannot be purchased with FC. A badge, rank, balance, or eligibility status does not guarantee a physical prize. Any sweepstakes, contest, or separate promotion will have its own published rules; BayForge Fit does not offer gambling, betting, cash prizes, random loot boxes, or chance-based redemptions through Forge Credits.

12. Intellectual property

BayForge Fit, BayForge, The System, The Foundry, Forge Guide, The Armory, Forge Credits, the BF mark, site design, and original content are owned by or licensed to BayForge. You may use the service personally but may not copy, sell, scrape, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit it without written permission.

13. Availability and liability

The service is provided on an “as available” basis without a promise that it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BayForge Fit is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

14. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms as the service develops. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date. California law governs these Terms where permitted. Questions may be sent to bayforgeservices@gmail.com.
